As smartphone applications become more widespread and quickly becoming the primary source for finding information, there are new apps released by the minute. It is easy for a really cool or useful app to go unnoticed because a user in the app store has well over a million to browse. We were comparing some of our personal favorites the other morning and thought we would compile a list to share with our readers. Some are purely fun, some informational, but all contain some interesting aspect that we thought we should share! Enjoy!

Evernote –  turns the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad into an extension of your brain, helping you remember anything and everything that happens in your life. From notes to ideas to snapshots to recordings, put it all into Evernote and watch as it instantly synchronizes from your iPhone to your Mac or Windows desktop.
CBS Sports
Twitter for iPhone – *also note the iPad version is pretty awesome!
Camera Bag
Tiltshift – By adjusting various parameters, it allows you to apply many ToyCamera effects on your pictures: from miniature pictures to vintage styles images.
Netflix
Car Trouble
Dragon Dictation – Dragon Dictation is an easy-to-use voice recognition application powered by Dragon® NaturallySpeaking® that allows you to easily speak and instantly see your text or email messages.
Shazam
Pandora
TuneIn Radio
Accuweather
ESPN ScoreCenter
Sherwin Williams Color Snap
Project 365 – Take a picture every day of the year, become a better photographer and never forget a day in your life.
Restaurant Nutrition
My Shopanion –  enables you to get real-time feedback on products from friends, compare prices on both new and used items, access extensive consumer and expert reviews, search millions of products, scan any barcode, and buy at the best price.
Double Rainbow – you have to see this one in action to appreciate it, but trust us, it is worth it!
Compassion International – With the Compassion app, you are just one tap away from joining the fight against poverty.
Knocking Video – direct phone to phone live video (obviously not pertinent to those with the iPhone 4)

Now it is your turn, what are some of your favorite apps we don’t know about? Any comments on our list, have you tried a particular app and not been pleased or know of a better version? We would love to hear your feedback!

Happy Friday!
